That group has started running TV spots opposing the Waxman-Markey clean energy reform bill, which it refers to as an “energy tax.” The truth, as reported by ThinkProgress.com, is that the Congressional Budget Office analyzed the bill and concluded that it would cost less than 50 cents per day, and would sharply cut greenhouse gas emissions.
